Constant Shoulder Pain After Accident

Workshops Workshop June 18, 2010

This last workshop before a taste of summer. During this workshop we played and discussed give very competitive after correcting the exercises of the training 32. I chose gives a good bid by Frederic Volcker, pictured right, bringing in a few days the colors of the team France at Ostend (the Bridge! Not at Foot :-(). This gives comes from the selection that was used to identify the future for France and open play against Frederick Christian Mari. The deal had been the bridge chronic Figaro Magazine and Alain Levy's comments in his column "Lessons" of bridge players of the month of June

"I bet for a very wide range of responses ranging from 4P to pass through a test against a handle and a competitive bid de3P with arguments for each of these choices. Skip to 3P or enter two attitudes are too pessimistic in regard to quality and location of a doubleton heart honneurs.Craindre North is the mark of a player who creates anxiety the conjunction of two events marginal intervention in five cards and support with two cartes.Si North singleton heart, the neck is within gunshot. Should he consult partner with a "maximum overcall double" the cons, bid test? No, because the opener does not seek a response 2P maximum force but one or two good cards and tile spade that respondent could not properly judge in the sequence. A jump in 4P is a good bet statistically. Fred jumps 4P and performs 11 tricks. In the other room Pierre Yves Guillaumin 3C leaves play for a fall. The cards are ideally placed opponents but the round must be played with both games. Notice that with 6 H and three small spades, North is unlikely to accept a proposal for widespread handle, an Ace of Hearts dry is not a real added value. "Alain Levy.
Note: For training 32 had reversed the clover and the tiles but the situation is much the same. The philosophy of the deal could be once again "do not ask questions to the Partner you the answer" and feel free to reevaluate the strength of a short hand fittée.
You will find here the last drive of the season, 33 training and a summary themes, champions, books, seen or mentioned during the 31 workshops in PDF format. The last workshop will be held June 25 and will focus particularly on new instruments of progress, training with the robots on BBO and Deep finesse. Workshop June 11, 2010

At L'Atelier, 11 June, we completed the review of defense against intervention on the initiation of 1SA by addressing key principles to be followed against intervention artificielles.Vous find the corrected exercises on the subject and the training 32 to June 18 Summer is approaching. Are buying a good book to bridge this period. The one that I recommend, if you're doing a little English, is that of Michael Lawrence "How to read your opponent's cards", or how to read maps adverse . An essential book. Of course, there are dozens of others, all excellent. It's just a personal choice. Michael Lawrence is both a great champion and a great teacher. The "little warm "The day wore on a deal well played by Fred Gitelman (Canadian Champion who now plays for the U.S.) with a good hand reading opponents. In Remembrance Wording For Wedding Program

Workshop June 4, 2010 Workshop

We continued our study of systems Lebensohl and cons Rubensohl natural response to tier 2, on opening 1NT. The idea, of course, is to choose the system that best suits you and which one works best for your partner. As we stated in writing and workshop, both systems are good systems, the Rubensohl is probably best suited to competitive players. The Bridge is not an exact science, it is natural and healthy that opinions on these two systems are shared. In a recent Bridgerama where he presented the Lebensohl, Michel Lebel wrote: "I am often asked the question: What should he play after opening 1NT and natural intervention of No. 2? My advice: play the opposite of Lebensohl a casual partner and also in front of your regular partner if you do not level the first set. " I leave the full responsibility of his remarks. As for my favorite Champion, Alain Levy , it is slightly uncompromising: "I know many of you play the Lebensohl, not by choice or conviction, but simply because this system was the first to have been offered on the market. The fact that the best players have quickly abandoned in favor of Rubensohl should suffice to convince you. The disadvantages of Lebensohl are too numerous to list them all ...." etc. Be moderate
reason and let us keep as Sabine Auken , World Champion, which smiles before a tournament, calmly reads his paper conventions , and inquired of opposing conventions. Choose a tool, the master and let more knowledgeable than we care to settle this dispute systems.
Here is a summary Tables of Lebensohl and Rubensohl auction and the two on the Lebensohl made Workshop (prepared by Gérard Saurel) and the training 31.
Thanks everyone for your gift, your attendance of your desire to progress and next week.
